May 9th, join state and local leadership and community organizations for a Town hall meeting to discuss clean energy opportunities and green job generation in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Why is clean energy important? By investing in clean energy, we can cut our dependence on oil, stimulate the economy, get clean electricity, and reduce the overload of carbon that is causing global warming. These investments will create millions of good-paying jobs nation-wide in the hardest-hit construction and manufacturing sectors and create pathways out of poverty for the most affected communities.
It's time to jump start the economy, cut our dependence on oil, and protect the planet for future generations. New Mexico cannot afford to wait.
The Town hall Meeting will take place at Smith Brasher Hall Auditorium, at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) in Albuquerque. Local community organizations will also be facilitating public discussions prior to the town hall on key topics, such as: State and Federal clean energy legislation, green jobs, global warming impacts for hunters and anglers, and more. Come join the discussion, and get updates on these topics and more from community leadership!
